You will be creating a timeline of the events leading to the American Revolution on Prezi. From the list below, you need to pick the five events you think had the most impact on the colonist’s drive for Independence. For each of the five events you choose, you must include the date it occurred, a definition or explanation of the event, how the colonists reacted to the event, and an analysis of the impact the event had on the push for independence. In addition to the required information, you must also include at least two different artifacts of the event (historic image, video clip, document, etc…). Your presentation needs to begin with a summary of the topic at hand (the American Revolution) and end with a reflection on the Revolution (big picture, alternative history, etc…). In order to receive credit you must include a works cited in your Prezi.   Due Date: Friday, November 6th 2015

1. The French and Indian War

2. Proclamation Line

3. Sugar Act

4. Stamp Act

5. Townsend Act

6. Boston Massacre

7. Tea Act

8. Boston Tea Party

9. Intolerable (coercive) Acts

10. First Continental Congress

11. Lexington and Concord

Below are databases that can help you get the information that you need for your timeline.

Creating a Prezi

When you are in the Prezi template area, there is a Timeline Prezi template that will work well for this project.

Inserting Video into Prezi

You may want to use a video on your timeline to represent the historical facts you are discussing.  Please see the attached video for any questions about this process.

Prezi Links

Here are Prezi links that may be helpful in creating your presentation.
